If the receiver has the same serial number as under barrel on the left front side of ring with the bu or bugn proofs then Mauser firm could have reused a sporter inventory action destined for the gunsmith trade as these actions in most cases had the serial number under action etc. . Mine also has a replaced rear sight from an Iranian made VZ98/29 rifle (or maybe just a new part made by Iran). The top bayonet is an Iranian VZ24 (98/29) bayonet.
