Jul 25, 2018 · 2009. Engine. Hemi 5.7. I know i'm coming in late but I recently installed a new stereo in my truck and was having a problem with parasitic draw on my 2009 Dodge Ram also. I had a reading of 1.3 amps. I removed the 30 amp radio fuse and it dropped to .44 amps also. Mar 29, 2011 · Fuses are not blown. Could a weak fuse cause this problem. The only clue was the draining of the batteries. Not sure how quickly your battery is draining, but my 2001 Ram 1500 had a .3 amp drain. I seldom drive my truck, so this drain would deplete the battery enough that it would not start in about a month.
